This Privacy Policy explains how Beirut Athletic Riders Room BARR ("BARR", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the BARR member app and related services. 1. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to run your membership and the app:

• Account details — your name, email address, and phone number.
• Profile information — your profile photo, date of birth, gender, emergency contact, and any optional health details you choose to provide (such as blood type or medical notes).
• Activity — your class bookings and attendance, personal-training sessions, gym visits, loyalty points and their history, and your purchases/receipts.
• Device information — a push-notification token used to deliver notifications to your device, and basic technical data required for the app to function.

Providing health details (blood type, medical notes) is entirely optional. If you provide them, they are used only to help our coaches keep you safe during training and are visible only to authorised gym staff.

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your membership and profile.
• To let you book and attend classes and personal-training sessions.
• To run the loyalty-points program and show your rewards and history.
• To send you notifications you have not turned off — such as booking confirmations, class changes, membership updates, and loyalty updates — by push notification, email, and/or WhatsApp.
• To process payments for packages and memberships where you choose to pay online.
• To provide customer support and keep the service secure and working properly.

3. How your information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf to operate the app:

These providers may process data on servers located outside Lebanon. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of BARR, our members, or others.

4. Data security

Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored with access controls so that only authorised staff and systems can reach it. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored by BARR. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your membership is active and as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, your login is removed and your membership record is deactivated and retained only as needed for our legitimate business and legal records, then removed.

6. Your rights and choices

• Access & correction — you can view your profile in the app; contact us to correct details we hold about you.
• Deletion — you can delete your account at any time from the app (You → Help & Support → Delete account), or by emailing us.
• Notifications — you can turn push, email, and WhatsApp notifications on or off in the app (You → Notifications) or in your device settings.

7. Children

The BARR app is intended for members aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or by email.
